Our First to Sixth Graders are exposed to a rich learning environment that provides not only the academic challenge but also develop essential skills and abilities to succeed in the 21st century. We also provide our children with the opportunity to use technology in the classroom, a covered spacious eating area, and outdoor games in a lively play area.
St. Mary’s elementary bilingual school curriculum is challenging based on US standards aligned with the standards of Ministry of Education of the Dominican Republic. We consistently provide an innovative approach to learning, resulting in leaders who are well-prepared, engaged, and proud of their accomplishments.

Our Elementary Bilingual School program provides leaders with a supportive learning environment and dynamic educational experiences that enable them to achieve academic success, gain knowledge in core subject areas, and develop personal responsibility and integrity. Combining academics with a strong sense of leadership, we help children to become global citizens, problem solvers, lifelong learners, and leaders.
The main objective of the St. Mary’s School’s is elementary bilingual program is to enhance the children’s social skills and self-image. In order to be successful learners cooperation, turn-taking, and problem solving skills must be developed. In addition, it is important for children to feel confident in their ability to make choices, initiate learning encounters, ask questions, and use their own knowledge.

St. Mary's School provide meaningful experiences
The instruction provides activities that stimulate, challenge, and meet the abilities and interest of children. Activities and lessons are designed to insure a developmentally appropriate, child centered program. Although the curriculum is teacher-prepared, it is responsive to the children’s interests, needs, and levels of development.
We recognize that children learn through meaningful experiences. Therefore, different methodologies are used according to the objective and groups. These different methodologies will strive to foster learning experiences that expand the children’s knowledge of the world and themselves. Each child has the opportunity to enjoy success by actively participating in activities and communicating in all forms. Students have multiple opportunities to explore and express themselves through music and art.

Dear Parents, welcome! Thank you for your interest in our institution for the education of your children. The following are the admissions procedures and requirements necessary to complete the admissions process at St. Mary’s School.
Upon inquiring about admissions to St. Mary’s School, families are scheduled for an appointment with our Director and given the admission packet to provide them with a quick overview of our programs, philosophy, mission / vision statements, application forms/ documents requirements, and tuition information. The applicant will be scheduled for an in-house evaluation.

- In-house evaluation for students applying to PK- 6th grade.
No aplicable fee.
- Parents will be notified with the results of the evaluation within a maximum of 10 working days
- Enrollment of accepted students should be formalized within 10 working days at the latest.
ST. MARY’S WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PLACEMENT AVAILABILITY BEYOND THE ABOVE TIME PERIOD
